STL Viewer is an advance application for downloading and viewing the contents of Stereo Lithography files. STL files are representations of the surfaces of solid models that have been created in CAD programs. STL files are a neutral format that can easily be generated by almost all CAD systems. Now you can take your favorite models with you to show others. The user interface supports zooming, panning and full 3D rotation of the model. It can also export the screen image to the photo album for other uses such as emailing. The current version downloads STL files from a WEB page or FTP site that are in ASCII or binary format. STL files can also be imported from iTunes as well as email attachments. Cutting planes can slice the model in all 3 axis. New features provide automatic volume and weight calculations.
